Pui, a gypsy of the sea, lives daily as a fisherman working with tourists. An everyday job that seems peaceful at first but that will soon be challenged. Father of two children living at the other end of the world, Pui questions his choices as well as his place among the people whose identity is threatened.
Swiss Film School Day Jury statement: “This film traces the ups and downs of everyday life, expressing a lot with little dialogue. The idyllic setting doesn’t conceal anything; instead, it emphasizes the search for belonging, bringing personal conflicts to the surface.”
